NZ to USA the 16 hour Haul

Well my last day in NZ was awesome, found a church with such a awesome feel to it!, then my friend Nat and Dave (the wedding i missed) took me out for lunch.

afterwards it was a quick dash to the airport for my flight to USA, which wasn't too bad, with the help of Nat (she works at air new Zealand) I was treated to extra creature comforts inc ear plugs, sleep mask and extra beer with dinner,

My first impression of USA wasn't so good, L.A is just so big and dirt, well the airport anyway.. but was made friendly with a Texan sitting across me, who proceeded to explain to me and everyone listening the good points and bad points of Australia (he lived in Sydney for 5 years) he then went on to talk about Texas, and of course I had my first political experience of holding my tongue.
Dallas was pretty full on getting in at 8pm, accommodation was hard to find, so had to splash out and get a hotel room, but it had cable which meant i could watch the Dallas stars trump the ducks 4-1 which means there onto the next stage!

Dallas day 1.
after much trekking and searching today I was able to find the train to Dallas, it seems people are slow to respond with information but may be my Aussie slang not sure?
visited the 6th floor museum, where supposedly the shots were fired that killed j.f.k, sadly i couldn't find out what the other conspiracy were due to the conspiracy museum being closed down.

Well its of to the music distract that during the 1920s and 1930s was a hotbed for jazz music! Dad you would be proud.

Hope any one who reads this is well

I apologise for the spelling and grammar but hey, if you cant read Davish you ain't cricket, or water Polo for that matter

Dave
